Young Farmer GPS Prize 2010
18-Feb-2010 19 February: The winner of the Young Farmer GPS Prize, announced at the 2010 NSW Conservation Agriculture Field Day at Trangie on 18 February, is Michael Armstrong, "Callubri", Nyngan.
In accepting the prize of a Raven Cruizer GPS, donated by gps-Ag and John Ive, "Talaheni", Hall, Mr Armstrong said the GPS unit was something his family had been wanting to use in their farming system for some time.
The Young Farmer GPS Prize was open to conservation farmers 35 years or under who had to explain how a GPS unit would be used to implement conservation farming principles.
This prize is possible due to the generosity of
gps-Ag and John Ive, Talaheni.
