2010 Conservation Farmer of the Year Award now open

12-Jun-2010 NEWS ALERT: Nominations for the 2010 Conservation Farmer of the Year Award are now being taken. The award is open to farmers in the Central West, Lachlan, Murrumbidgee, Muarray, Western and Central-Hunter Rivers catchments. The Award recognises the winner's ability to farm in an environmentally sustainable and profitable fashion as well as recognising their willingness to contribute to the well-being of the local and greater farming community.

Regional winners will be selected from each catchment, with these winners being the finalists for the Conservation Farmer of the Year Award, to be announced at the 2010 Conference Dinner in Wagga Wagga on 16 September.
